This 1970s Mollie Parnis Boutique maxi dress features a white ground with allover red dotted Swiss texture, ruffled V-neckline, red grosgrain ribbon waistband, and matching ruffled cuffs. A red fabric flower at the bodice and empire waist silhouette give it a charming, feminine feel perfect for garden parties or special occasions. This dress comes with its story, entrusted to me-to give it a new chapter with it’s next owner. It was bought as a major splurge, by a single mother in the early 70s, for her daughter’s prom. This dress fits like a modern size small. Good vintage condition. There are light spots/marks in one spot on the front skirt area near the pleats that are only visible when looking closely for them. This does not detract from dress. The fabric, ruffles, ribbon trim, and overall construction remain in strong shape with no tears or significant wear.
