1970s Custom Silk Maxi Dress & Bolero Jacket Set in Red Medallion Print - XL

This one of a kind 1970s two-piece set features a sleeveless V-neck maxi dress paired with a matching short-sleeve bolero jacket, all custom made in silk with a rich red and navy medallion floral print. The jacket is fully lined in a coordinating burgundy fabric and fastens with three red buttons, while the dress has an empire waist and a flowing A-line skirt. This set was custom made with no labels. Bust fits up to approximately 46". Empire waist up to 42". Waist and hips are open and free-flowing. The generous cut makes this a comfortable and forgiving fit. It was custom made for an American women living in Malaysia in the 1970s and lovingly cared for. Excellent vintage condition. The silk fabric is in great shape with no notable flaws, holes, or stains. The lining of the bolero is fully intact. The buttons are all present and secure. Minor wrinkling to the lining consistent with age and storage.
