1950s Burgundy Taffeta Party Dress with Sequin Floral Beaded Collar - Medium

This 1950s burgundy taffeta dress features a beautifully draped portrait collar adorned with hand-beaded sequin flowers and faux pearl accents. The fitted bodice transitions into a generous gathered full skirt that catches the light with a lovely sheen. This dress has no labeled size. Measured flat, it fits up to a 40" bust, up to a 30" waist, and has a total length of 47". Please refer to these measurements for best fit. Very good vintage condition consistent with age. The taffeta is intact with good body and no splits or tears observed. The beading and sequin work on the collar is largely intact. Minor wear consistent with a garment of this era. Collar has slight reddish thread showing in small spot. See photos, does not detract from wear. No significant flaws noted.
